  • Access Acelity Programs

Access Acelity provides HCPs around the world the opportunity to learn more about the development, science, and clinical use of our products in our offices in San Antonio, Texas and Branchburg, New Jersey. Clinical and research faculty, along with Acelity leadership, facilitate a robust program with clinical discussions, scientific data, mechanism of action supporting research, indications, and safety information. In addition to practical application exercises in our simulation suite, participants have the opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art research and development, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Acelity Forum

Forums offer the opportunity to learn from an expert panel as they share their experiences with patient management strategies and advanced techniques. The programs include review of clinical data, question and answer sessions, and networking time, allowing participants to discuss challenging cases with their colleagues as well as the faculty. These events seek to expand physician and surgeon knowledge of the use of Acelity products for appropriate patients and wound types.
  • Acelity Clinical Education Summit (ACES)

ACES programs are day-long, peer-to-peer events designed to educate clinicians on the scientific evidence and clinical uses of the Acelity portfolio. Didactic and interactive group discussions, as well as hands on training, provide robust information on therapy options for complicated wounds, incision management and epidermal grafting.
  • Accredited Education

Acelity supports accredited medical education programs through grants to third party providers. Online accredited content can be accessed at the Center for Healing Solutions and www.WoundCareEducation.net.
  • Bioskills Labs

These interactive programs offer an opportunity to enhance wound management and surgical skills through live lectures and a hands-on lab under the direct supervision of expert faculty. The course instructors share their optimal patient management strategies and techniques through interactive group discussion. Participants also gain a greater understanding of how regenerative medicine or advanced wound therapy can help improve patient outcomes.
  • Local Medical Education Programs

Local educational activities provide the opportunity for surgeons, hospital administrators, and/or appropriate office support staff to engage with expert faculty within their local area. Speakers will share their data, technique pearls, and their treatment algorithms to help optimize patient outcomes. These programs include stand alone meetings, grand-rounds, journal clubs, and peer-to-peer informal discussions, which all provide a meaningful forum for healthcare providers to interact and share best practices.
  • Mini-Fellowship Programs

An intimate 2-day program hosted in a clinical setting, mini-fellowship programs give participants the opportunity to observe live surgeries, participate in a dinner presentation with a robust question and answer session, and practice surgical technique in a hands-on lab. The smaller group setting and longer program format allow for thorough technique training and meaningful information sharing with expert faculty.
  • Preceptorships

Preceptorships offer an exclusive one-on-one opportunity to observe surgical cases conducted by an expert faculty in their hospital or institution. Attendees shadow expert faculty in the OR, which allows for ample time to discuss challenging cases and solutions, while offering a unique opportunity to observe surgical skills and techniques.
  • Residency Program

Residency programs provide residents an introduction to the latest advanced wound therapy products on the market. Faculty will review the evolving role of wound management, summarizing scientific data regarding each product and discuss incorporation of advance therapy products in his/her practice. Healthcare economic will be discussed, and a hands on training will follow.
  • Surgical Solutions Symposia

Surgical Solutions Symposia are larger events offering a broad range of educational topics with interactive group discussion, which may also include hands-on technique building at an offsite bioskills lab. Presentations provide an overview on the science of regenerative medicine or wound therapy, including data review and clinical case discussion. Application-specific educational tracks and breakout sessions allow participants to focus learning on specific topics of interest in a peer-to-peer setting. In addition, an Interactive learning area provides an array of information on Acelity products and new cutting-edge technologies.
  • Trade Show Symposia

Trade show symposia are offered as ancillary meetings in conjunction with a conference, society meeting, or congress. While attending a national event, participants are invited to attend a symposium focusing on advanced technologies, surgical techniques, applications, and case-based experience through didactic presentations led by a panel of experts.
  • @U Surgical Simulation Unit

@U provides an on-site learning environment to teach physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team the “why,” “when,” and “how” to use Acelity products. Acelity educators travel to facilities and conventions across the country to deliver education and training as well as a variety of hands-on product applications, techniques, and the latest information on Acelity products. The @U mobile unit brings interactive customer learning experiences and conveniently allows the opportunity to address any questions or suggestions directly with an Acelity team member.
  • Webinar Programs

Webinar programs are available live or on-demand and serve as a viable alternative to participants globally who are not able to attend a meeting in person. This education opportunity allows the participant to connect via personal computer for an online presentation and/or video demonstration and have the opportunity for open dialogue with the presenter during the live question-and-answer session that follows. Presentations can be tailored to a specific topic of interest and pre-recorded programs are also available on-demand.
